2nd Annual SLO Abolitionists' Dinner

If you're interested in attending our dinner, tickets are available at the table for International Justice Mission (in the foyer) after both services or by calling the church office.  The dinner will be held June 30th from 4-7pm and it will be located at Mountainbrook.  A full gourmet dinner will be served.  The cost is $25 and the proceeds will go to further the efforts of this important movement to end human trafficking.  

Seeds of Hope International Partnerships and Mountainbrook Host Inaugural Walk for Hope!

Join us on Saturday, August 3, 2013 for our inaugural Walk for Hope: Reversing Poverty, Creating Healthy Homes in Africa. This interactive walk, beginning here, at Mountainbrook Community Church, will take participants on a journey toward a deeper understanding of the challenges that Zambia and other developing nations face, with various stations along the way displaying Seeds of Hope’s proven holistic solutions for healthy homes in Africa. Participants will be able to choose between a 1 mile and 5 mile route to walk, in which they will retrieve water and carry it back to the finish line. With your help, SoHIP has already provided clean water for over 600,000 people! Your participation in this event will save lives, as all proceeds from this event will go directly to funding SoHIP’s successful, holistic solutions in Africa. You will help further SoHIP’s mission by allowing us to provide clean water to more communities through well drilling and BioSand filtration, and help us to continue conducting hygiene and sanitation, agriculture development, and vocational training.
